| Cartoon Transcript: Title: Strategic Planning Magic Tricks...Revealed At top: "Struggling to finish a strategic plan? We went undercover at a successful organization to find out how they did it..." Panel 1: Reaching Consensus, The Official Story: woman says, "Everyone worked as a team to determine what was best for the organization!" How it was really done: Hypnotist is saying, "You are getting sleepy...you are putting aside your personal agenda and striving for consensus..." Panel 2: Writing the Plan The Official Story -- man is saying, "We systematically analyzed all the data we'd gathered and formulated it into a plan." How it was really done-- magician with hat full of paper says, "I've stuffed all of your shredded data into the hat. Now, one tap of the magic want and... Voila!" Below shows completed strategic plan in the hat, crowd says, "ooh, aah." Panel 3: Implementing the Plan The Official Story- woman says, "After intensive proposal writing, we found the needed funding to implement the plan."
